Hello everyone just bought a 2005 completely stock blaster rode it hard, then found this forum. I am new to 2 strokes and Blasters, but have rode ATV`s for almost 3 years now, and I have some questions........

I see just by viewing a couple of posts that blasters are very moddable, what kinds of upgrades do you recommend I get first?

Being new to 2 strokes, is there any thing I should know about coming from 4 strokes? (common problems, general maintenance, etc.)

Lastly, is there anything I should know about Blasters in general?

A pipe and a filter makes them really wake up trust me got a stocker and a piped one wow what a difference. Anything but dg is a good pipe. lrd,ct,f7,dynoport are all good topend pipes fmf is a really good bottom end pipe but not the best on topend.
Make sure anytime you tear into your engine to leak down test it to make sure your not sucking in air and running lean.
Jet for everyengine mod and do plug chops to verify jetting.
other than that clean the filter and oil chain and lube everything and ride lol.

welcome and yes a filter and a pipe and if you want you can take the air filter lid off and then rejet it....but yea if your running oil injection still dont forget to kep the tank full or it blow your engine...yea pm me with any questions you have or if you ever need help, theres alot of good mechanics on here though. welcome!!!!!!!!!
