Do you think Obama deserved it??

Vote yes or no,and explain why you voted that way.

I vote NO,why? Bc what has he done that has been so great to get this award?

1st Black prez in U.S. history

Bad::
Government is still in the same state as it was 9 months ago.
Everything he had said we would change...he hasnt yet.
Troops are still going to Iraq,what happend to "pulling them back"
 
he is black, but why does that matter skin color dont mean anything we are all the same but we surly arnt treated the same white people have less rights and yeah he needs to show he is trying a bit harder in my eyes though but youcant change anything
 
I voted yes for a reason he bailed out GM and got my dad his job back. Honestly I belive he is doing the best he can but he has to make up for the f*ck-ups created by George Bush. Also i think we would be much worse off if we were to have Mcain as president. He wants to pull troops out of Iraq but he knows he cant do that right now its still way to unstable over there pulling out to soon could be very bad. And give him time he hasnt even been president for a year yet. Hes got so much to do. How many of us can honestly say that we could do what he is doing now
 
what i dont understand is why troops are over there still we killed the 2 guys we wanted pull out what are they goona do bomb us again alls we have to do is send a nuke out there to destroy there hole dam country

ppl work there ENTIRE life to try and get the peace prize,he got it in a year....for what?...

i agree with the bail out thing,but that wasnt HIS decision. As for the being in Iraq thing...we have been there since 2000...we have been there way to long. Im from a Military family and my brother has been there since 2001. Hes been there 7times...4 with 1year tours each. Granted he signs up for it. But...we are not needed there. You know what there doing there? Baby sitting...thats all there doing right now. We need to pull out of there and let that country live its life. If the want to kill each other,we should NOT step in. Thats not the USA,why should we care. Thats why the economy is the way it it.

We bail out other countries rather then worry about our own. Were never paid back our money. Instead we are raped for it and turned against. We spend billion on bombs to blow up countries that we go to war with,and then we spend billions to say "oh were sorry we blew ur sh*t up,but here...heres money and thousands of troops to help rebuild. oh...feel free to shoot at them when u want"




sorry for the rambling,but its just all BS to me why were there. lol.
 
I have to vote NO for now. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the award though just not right now.. He has a lot of good veiws but hasn't really went threw with many of them yet. He has bettered relationships with other countrys. I also love that he did sign the extention for unemployment b/c I was one of the ones that got hit hard with loosing jobs. I've been unemploied since NOV 08 so I do like that part but as far as him doing enough to get that award this early in.
 
My dad is in the airforce and has been over there once hope he doesnt have to go again. And that the way this country works we kill you and pretty much destroy your country then help you rebuild so we can have a new allie(sp). I also believe all the nukes we have are pretty much just for protection. because say we didnt have any nuke and china has a sh*tload of them and one day they decide they want some more land so they blow us up and move in lol.

EXACTLY...when we see the changes clearly,he will deff deserve it. Its just way to soon. Yea i might be losing my job next week bc of Lay-offs...sucks man. I just posted a thread about it earlier.
 
I'm an Obama backer lol. In my eyes hes doing a job that nobody else can do. He stopped by the GM plant were my dad works and gave a speech thats something almost no other president would take the time out of his busy schedule to do

1 nuke goes off in the world...it will become 1 big ass parking lot lol. we shouldnt have to rebuild there sh*t tho,you dont see Bin Ladens f*cker over here rebuilding. It should be...boom we blew ur sh*t up,fix it...fk with us again and ur country will look like the Grand Cannon.

My son is a junior in high school.
He was just voted Valedictorian for his graduating class next year.
He said he plans on acing all the tests and promises to start doing his home work.

And if you believe that crap, then you think our President deserved this after only being in office for less than a month. Because THAT is when he was nominated for the award.
Use your head. This just further degrades the value and meaning of what was once a great and honorable award.
You should never be rewarded for what you plan to do. Come see me when you git-r-dun.
