Nitrous Oxide

You could take a stock cylinder and bore it to the max and you won't gain 1hp. Not only do you have to deliver the gas and nos at the right rate, but also the air and oil, while keeping the proper fuel to oil ratio and fuel to air ratio. This would be hard to do at varying rpms

I meant that article you posted ^^^^(up there). 2 strokes and 4 strokes are totally different. I'm not gonna explain it all to you, but as I said ^^^^ ratios are extremely critical in 2 stroke life and performance. 4 strokes ratios are important, but not critical.

When you say oil you mean the oil in the crank to lube your rings or the oil in the premixed gas

The oil in your gas IS the oil in your crank. The transfer port lead from the combustion chamber to the crank, thats how the crank gets lubed.

What
no way... really the oil we use in the gas is 2stroke oil but the oil we use in our crank case is something thicker like a 10w30 or what ever the 2 stroke oil we use is to thin to lube the gears it would break down to fast unless were on the wrong page lol idk i guess you have to keep an eye out for what happens to my build to see idk im gonna be home thursday and im goin straight to my guy and we will figure this out lol

That is actually, your transmission or gear box, some people cll it the crankcase, because the crank is housed there as well, but it is sealed from the rest of the bottom end

gears are separated from the crank/piston/cylinder on a 2 stroke only thing lubing it is the 2 stroke oil.
only thing lubing you clutch/drive gears is the tranny/gear oil 10w30w.

4 stroke engine the gear/tranny oil lubes the whole shabang....thats why there is oil rings on the pistonso_O

I did a little looking around, and from the sites I visited it does seem feasible, as long as the jetting is adjusted properly. Seems the nitrous only adds air to the mix, and can also assist in cooling. What sucks is air is used quickly in an engine, and so is nitrous. When your out of nitrous your gonna have to change jets or its gonna run like $#it

Ok that sounds better i apologize lol dang little engines haha so this burger man's DIY car and bike build your own nitrous oxide system has all the info but of course i am not going to be building one my self ima let my guy do what he has been doing for years lol i dont wanna die the first time i use nos haha

When i said "proven mods" it included:
240bbk kit
port and polish
stroke crank
a better pipe

if you go with nos, i suggest getting yourself an aftermarket CFM airbox and adding a sprayer nozzle so the nitrous goes through the carb

would the nitrous not just replace some air IF you injected it into the air stream?

on another note/cold air is more dense oxygenated then warm air.
that is why peolpe are doing these cold air intakes lol.
does that car got nitrous??

That

That does make perfect sense !!! all this guy does is drag and thats one run with full nos he must have it jeted for idle some how then the nos jets... so maybe its not a good idea unless all i wanna do is blast once and thats it???

I dont know i mean as long as the jetting is right i should be able to just putt around with out nos and not hurt anything??? because you would have to arm the system and make it pump that fuel and everything
