Its a hpi baja with a cc racing 26cc motor that ive converted to nitro.
is that the car you were running in that vid you posted recently? whatever it was it was fast as sh*t and this thing is awesome too.
Yup, those are brushed motors. Easy way to tell the difference is brushed motors have 2 wires going to them, brushless motors have 3.
Unless you have a sensor brushless motor in which case you have at least 5 and more likely 7 or more (three large and at least 2 small sensor wires)don't forget the old sensor'd models!
@paulie: They've already done it. Brushless motors with Lipo cells are faster and overall more powerful than nitro or 2t r/c vehicles. The last great problem to tackle is charge cycle time.

The only thing it excels at is being quieter if thats even a plus. It doesn't have the power, the speed, smell, or run time or a gas or nitro baja.
