Nitro RC Guys

Finally got my hands on a couple nitros guys. I found a super deal on CL. One is a Team Losi Aftershock and the other is a Team Associated MGT 8.0. They both need a couple odds and ends, but I picked them up for 200 bones. Both 1/8th scale too. They're monsters!!!

Also, finally got my center shafts for the EMAXX.

Hellz yeah nice score Jon! I was always partial to the 1/8th scale nitros.
They are jes funner then the 1/10 scale cause they go anywhere for the most part.
I hated my 10 scale Rs4 onroad when it would wreak after hitting a pebble.

haha the bug has hit.The 3 will turn into 4,then 6,8,10,12 and so on.lol 1/8 scale nitros is the only way to go,unless you go 1/5 scale.The aftershock is a good losi platform with tons of upgrades available.Put a big red motor in there and you will havbe even more fun!!!Nice score for $200.

i guess my motors or the esc quit in the EMAXX today. played with it yesterday after installing the shafts and got all of 3 minutes outta the batteries after correctly charging them. guess there too old to use i dunno. anyway, i charged them again this morning and drove it like 2 mins and the motors stopped running, nothing out of them, but the servos are still working.

can anyone give me an idea on how to test them?

I put mine on 20% one time. Nitro gets real temperamental in bigger size 2 strokes but it can be done. Think LOTS of fuel flow and a heavy duty ignition system.

Yes I would not recommend just dumping in some 20% RC fuel unless you want a run away motor
