Newbie needs help. I think it's ceized

I just traded a gocart for a 2002 blaster and the kick start will not move and the bike will not roll in any gear but nuetral.

I'm pretty sure its a ceized motor, but can these just be a top end rebuild job?

I'm hoping so. i'm pulling off the head this weekend to see whats up.

Whats the worste case scenario here?

you prolly just need a top end rebuild piston and a bore and you should be good to go

I was hoping thats all I would need. What kit should I go with?

Should I go big bore or just keep it simple?

I'm trying to stay moderatly cheap, but fast.

depends on what u want to spend you can have a local shop bore it and get a piston and gasket set all for around 200 bucks a big bore is around 500

Hey just wanted to report back on what it actually was.

Well after pulling the head I saw that the skirt was disinigrated on the piston and saw some fragments near the crank stopping it from klicking over. the piston wall had a litle score and was fixable.

$275 later I have a running quad that is bored 2 over and that was free to begin with.

I'm now looking for parts parts parts to fix her up some.
