u dont need primer and no dont heat it up just take some fine sand papaer and sane it all down so it has fine straches and the clean it really good then paint with 3-4 light coats and make sure u let completly before u sart new coats then repeat with cleat coat

it takes 15 ins for it to dry to the touch and u can put another coat on and then once ur done wait 7 days b4 u go riding so the paint can cure but the most important step is prep work thats whats gana make ur paint stick

dont listen to these people about painting your plastic.
you need to use a product called bulldog adhesive promoter as your primier. it is made to work on plastic car bumpers. it will help paint stick to the plastic a lot better.
these is how you paint plastic correctly with fusion krylon cans.

1) clean plastic
2) wet sand plastic start with 400 grit and work your way down to 1500grit
3) clean plastic again then let dry
4) apply bulldog to plastic and let dry over night
5) apply light coats of fusion paint around 5-7 light coats
6) wet sand ligthly with 1500grit to smooth out any roughness left
7) apply 2-3 more light coat of paint
8) apply 2-3 coats of clear then let dry over night before you mess with it

between coats allow paint to dry but not be complete dry
paint in a warm dry area, over 70F for best results.

very good tips sheeblast. except i would let paint try in between coats completely. if you dont let it dry completely you have a chance of "spidering"

i dont let it dry completely because that will take a while, like a couple hours. i usually let it dry for a while, but not that long. and that is why light coats work the best, they will dry faster and less chance of running.

im not talking about running. i am talking about whe you put a coat down, if you dont let it dry and put another coat than the undercoat can bubble or spider. it doesnt happen all the time, but it can

ya it happened to my cases on my banshee, it was only ever happened with that type of paint, after a couple coat then the clear it would crack. but if you use that fusion stuff, it dries quick usually. like i would put a layer of paint, then play two rounds of MW2 then put around coat between rounds lol. never had a problem with the plastic.

where can i get that primer from? kinda too late about the saanding thing i already sanded the plastics with 220..buuuut ill smooth them out. soo yea if you can help me on finding that primer that'd be great
