New to the blaster an the forum

Hey guys, I've been creepin around on the forum for a couple months lol. I was trying to decide if I should buy 2 blasters off my buddy for $800 one running(supposedly bored over, it had/has full fmf gold series exhaust ) an one not running. I pulled the trigger an couldn't be happier the one that's runs is awesome an will definately fly, even scared me a lil. An the other I'm happy with as a parts fourwheeler or who knows maybe I will rebuild it an ride it too. I just wanted to say thanks some of the post an opinions on here helped influence my decesion an I'm now having more fun because of it. Hopefully I attached a picture of both blasters lol

Thanks alot guys!! I'm feelin at home already, quick question. My blaster had the fmf powercore 2 slip on, but it broke right before I got the blaster I took the pro circuit factory sound slip on off the other blaster. Am I effecting my performance? It doesn't cut out or spit an sputter while riding but doesnt idle by itself for long either. It just seems like it should have the powercore on it ya know? Lol

Providing both the slip ons are full flow designs, you should have no problems.

You may need to re adjust the idle.

If you fear any problems, a plug chop will confirm your suspicions.

Thanks for the quick responses guys an again very welcoming thank you . I will try an adjust the idle this weekend I didn't wanna start turning screws without knowing if the pipe was affecting idle. I work third shift an just got off this mornin about to sleep a few hours . I'm off for the weekend an hopefully my wife will let me play with my new toys lol. I'm not familiar with a leak test I know I've seen it on the forum before an have looked but I guess I'm not using the search right lol .

Welcome, awsome score! I think your "parts bike" is a full bike that just needs a rebuild and now a slipon. Id break that one down and do a full rebuild on it while being able to enjoy ur running one during the build.
