This is the first Atv I myself owned. But I've been bumming my buddy's KFX for the past year.

Picked up this 2000 Blaster for 600 last week.
She runs, Snapped the throttle cable yesterday, have one coming in the mail soon. Shes a fixer-upper but I'm looking forward to wrenching on her.

I'm open to suggestions, and input . :D

Sweet. You need to make your crankcase vent tube longer. The end of it needs to be somewhere where dirt can't get into it.

i'm not too sure he isn't talking about the blue tube, but that is the carb bowl drain tube. the case vent tube is on the kicker side right under the reed cage housing. it goes up along the frame and under the front nose plastic.

Yeah, but the case vent tube was in between my swinger. I just googled that and put it where it should be.

he is right then. i didn't even notice that tube laying on the back of the motor. duh...:-[

I have some nice blue front plastics if ya want some without cracks.

So what are the upgrade plans? Anything yet?

How much?

And I was thinking FMF SST pipe. I definitively see a rebuild happening once i scrape up the funds, the guy i bought this from said he himself never rebuilt it, and he didn't ask the man before him. SO I'm willing to bet she is needing one!

As i said i don't really know to much about 4 wheelers, I've been riding dirtbikes till recently. So any tips on how i can make her run better, get more power out of her, will be greatly appreciated. :D

$30 plus whatever shipping is, depends on where you are. If you are interested then you can PM me your zip code and I can get a quote.

Search around the forum some and you can find a lot of threads about upgrading and modding your blaster for more power. If you have any questions about rebuilding or modding, search, then ask!

I suggest first things first, new air filter, fluids everywhere, and a good carb rebuild kit if you have the cash. Rebuild kit not really needed, I like to do it though with my new blastys that I buy

PM Sent, And new filter is in the mail, drained gas when i got it and refilled, drained oil, then refilled. Could you find me a link for a carb rebuild kit? When i Google i get like car and boat rebuild's.
