I'm Cameron I just picked up an 06 blaster for my gf. It's def a project quad. The pervious owner decided it would be a great idea to spray paint it. So I need to figure out a way to get that off with our damaging the plastic

It's specs are
Bored .20 over
Fmf slip on
K&n air filter
Front sprocket changed for more bottom end
Dg front bumper and grab bar

Def will be on here looking for ideas

welcome to the forum any questions can be answered with the search function, but if you need anything don't be afraid to ask

Haha the I should of known the pic rule.

As far as problems/general wear
Chain is way loss
Handle bars bent
Pours gas out of carb over flow
Missing ignition switch
Paint looks like hell
Tires are about worn out

It fires up after the first kick every time Tho

get that chain tightened or replaced before it skips and takes out the case, and a good cleaning, float adjustment or at worse.... $12 moose carb rebuild kit,
will fix the carb leaking
get the maintenece done then work on the cosmetic things

That's the plan I will be so pissed if the case gets cracked. I want to get a case saver for it.

Welcome! You will soon have the blaster bug, It's ok and only last for 37 years!

I can tell ya Freek has been busy and hasn't had a chance to make any recently..

Haha sad part is I have it. I got the carb fixed tonight and was working on taking a link out of the chain and smashed my finger. The punch slipped and ended up on my finger and I hit it with a 2 lb hammer. It hurts like hell

To remove paint off plastic/fiberglass soak rags with brake fluid and lay them over the plastics overnight. Then you can just wipe off the paint in the morning. OLD School body trick ;)
