Hi everyone! I picked up my first blasters about a week ago. Got a killer deal on two 88's and a 96 for only $200! The 96 is completely torn down with a siezed bottom end. One of the 88s is the one I'm doing a frame off restore on right now, and the other 88 is where my question comes in. Just above the clutch lever on the handle bars is a smaller lever that has a cable running down to the top of the head. It is attached to what appears to be a valve. Looks to me like its pushing in. Is this some sort of way to build compression or what? Have I got something good or a POS? Any info is appreciated.
