hi all am new to blasters and 2 strokes. I bought a 2005 blaster last week and it has starting smoking i have found out on here that it might be crank seals is there a video anywhere to show how to change these any help is gratefully received thanks
Ill be doing a full bottom end disassembly and reassembly soon (within the next couple weeks hopefully) on my cousins blaster. Im busy doing a bottom end vid on my banshee right now. Subscribe to my youtube channel and you will get notified when i upload the vids. Link in my signature.
Is it using transmission fluid? If the white smoke is transmission fluid burning, the exhaust will smell very different than normal 2 stroke exhaust. It will smell like burning motor oil (or transmission fluid whichever you're using).

Changing the seals isn't particularly difficult and does not require a complete engine tear down. I recommend doing both sides together even though white smoke would indicate the clutch side seal is bad. It will take a flywheel puller , an impact screwdriver, and an impact gun with a 19mm and 22mm socket.
