new heel guards

so i wanted some heel guards that are better than the stock plastic ones. but dont get all mudded up, just something to keep feet out of the tires. i had some old round stock and grating laying around. so i did some cutting and welded a quick set up. full welds still need to be done, just small beads rite now.

They would be great at the awk ride.You could take them off and use them to cook your Burger on the camp fire.

^ thanks. it comes a little close. other than that no issues, i just kick with my heel.
i welded for 4hrs today. did a 1 1/2in tube grab bar, extended a stock swinger 4in's, frame gussets, tabs on my grab bar for a tool box, chain guide on the tubular swinger. doing the mounts for my ds 650 style fenders that will move with the direction of the wheels tomorrow.

lol i was going to do that, but i scrapped the plan as i had no good way of bending the flat stock i was going to use.

im going to mount off of the 2 bolts that hold the tierod kleete down. with a piece of 4mil 1x3 flatstock, then use 3/8 round bar to make my supports. also once i have the heeld guards finished im going to spray them with a few coats of rhino liner or linex

ill be posting a build thread soon of my blaster with tons of pics.
i got it and it blew a week later, its waiting on a rebuild from ken, paint, hi flow air box. everything is listed in my sig.
the other one is waiting on rings and paint, carrier. it ate the rings 2 weeks ago(we knew they were about dead).

i have a threads about the hub/rim, axle/carrier/hydro brake, front and rear shock conversions. i also posted my tubular swingarm in the extended swingarm thread.
im currently building my own heavy duty extended swingarm i just finished welding it, its 1x2 tube like stock and i cored and put on gusset plates in the high stress areas it for extra strength. i used the front half of a blaster arm and the rear carrier leafs from a lt250s.
