also top speed is where the quad no longer goes any faster, so you have hit top speed.

why did my pic not show up and race gears are enlarged first and last gears.

if you put both a bigger front and rear sprocket, you most likely didn't change the overall gearing.
a bigger front gives higher top speed, a bigger rear gives lower top speed.
what size gears did you put on it? how many teeth is the front and rear sprocket?
and upload your pictures on photobucket and copy and paste the

also i would suggest counting the number of teeth on your sprockets.
