new guy oko question?

Found this one on eBay? Some guys run oko's and I was just wondering if this one will work? I haven't gotten word back on my motor as bore size., but I'll have the head milled the jug with a mild port vforce reeds and full FMF with a uni filter. Votes the link to what I found. Thanks in advance!

I had an OKO. Found it hard to tune. Went back to the stock carb. Although I think some guys on here run them and can give you a lot of info.

It is a copy of a Keihin, that means some will be ok and others will not, low quality control. IMO.. I would get a Mikuni or Keihin and only use their trademarked jets, since there are copies of jets, that don't work well.

If you have a good 26mm stock carby, save your money on the OKO.

With the mods you stated the stock carb will work just as well if not better.

Well..................... you get what you pay for.

Seems they were the cat's a$$ when they first hit the market 4+yrs ago.
Then quality went down the crapper. Chrome peeling from slides, casting flaws in fuel inlet, tuning headaches.
Have seen this both here and on BHQ.

Well I guess I'll just clean up and rebuild the stocker! I know jetting isn't the same for any carb/motor application. Does anyone have a good starting point? As far as I know its for the stock jets but I removed the TORS. Thanks for the replies!

Yeah I have no air box lid and I'm pre mixing.
