So i've been working on getting my blaster ready for spring and i'm looking to upgrade the front suspension. I'm gonna get a Diamond J kit for it and i've been looking for some YZF 450 front shocks but are kinda out of my price range for nice looking used ones but i found these do you think they will work

I would skip the diamond j kit and get asr a arms. long or standard travel. You can use yfz shocks on the long travel or banshee works shocks on standard travel. Its a night and day difference either way, you get what u pay for.

I also say skip the diamond kit...

Yeh arms cost almost double, but you might as well get them sooner than later...

Guy near me selling stage 3 elkas for a 450r (18 inch eye to eye) I wish i had long travel now...

Yeah I've looked into getting arms but this is supposed to be my cheap project and for the kinda riding im gonna be doing I dont think the arms will be cost effective I just dont wanna have to worry about tipping so easy I agree that its the way to go but I think I can have everything I want for half the price if I do put real money into a quad its gonna be a banshee when I get a hold of one
I forgot to put the bit on the first post about the shock lowering kit that blaaster mentioned
I was hoping this project to be fairly cheap but its snowballed pretty bad so im trying to get most of what I want the stock shock are not that great works shocks would be nice but I think im gonna pay the 200 on these and have a better ride hopefully this is the last of the parts I have to buy before spring

The kits are not as poor as folks bag them to be.

If one cannot afford the A arm option the kit is a very good choice.
