im not sure if u guys knew i got myself a polished keihin 34mm pj flatslide.but i did now i have to figure out the jetting.it has a 145 main 58 pilot and a 72 needle.any recomendations is appreciated and rep will be given.
i got this carb because ill be going to a ported 240 soon.but just for now its on the small bore kit

correct m if im wrong, but, shouldnt the pilot circuit be somewhat close to the main in terms of size.....example i run a 50 pilot 155-160 main.

sounds to me like the main is close but the pilot is way rich

that mofo was in there tight had to use a snipe to get it out.i didnt put it in that tight

that pilot is way large and is affecting the other 2 circuts

on my ported ken oconnor racing motor, my pj 34 has been ...........

48 pilot, 155 main, dgh needle on the middle clip
on it's second season and purrs just fine

I am in the middle of jetting myself and its a pain in the butt. 58 pilot is way over kill. Do like awk said and drop to 48 and work on needle location and then airscrew. I am looseing more hair over getting 2 carbs synced and performing perfect but jetting is really close with 2 carbs as it is with one. I just spent 72 more bux on jets. Another thing is dont use those cheap jets because there is a diferance even though they look alike i assure you they are very diferant than OE Keihin jets.
