needle setting experience?

ive heard from a few different people that moving the needle clip down one slot helps in the midrage to eliminate that flat spot. i could see why since its richening it and giving it a bit more gas. who all has done this mod? im talking a stock 26mm mikuni also

what flat spot ???
1/4-1/2 throttle or 3/4 + throttle

i'm running the stock pilot and needle on the middle clip on my black blaster, mild port cleanup, KOR head mod, vf3's and all those different right bend pipes i tried last year, and those stock settings worked great.

about half throttle it just seems flat on all blasters ive rode, i think im going to do some experimenting

It's not a mod it's called tuning. These Blasters that you rode, what pipe, other mods? Was it rolling on, quick jab, or constant throttle posistion?
