I have a 2005 yamaha blaster. It has a fmf fatty and powercore 2 exhaust system. K&N air filter. and race cut front fenders. Im trying to make it as fast as possible without having to rebuild the engine up to a 240. Any ideas??

First off whats your budget and riding style? there is many things... Better pipe,reeds,filter setup,porting,crank, You do do tons of things.
I dont have a very big budget so thats y im not rebuliding the engine. Mostly i do drag racing with it at a dirt track
Thats still not specific enough. But you will need to rejet with every mod that includes the motor fyi.
You could get a more topend pipe like dynoport or lrd. Gear the bike up for more topend, you could send the topend off for porting and head mod, advance timing, get bigger carb get diff air filter set up.

Ported with a new piston and gaskets will bring you slightly over 300 but thats the ticket to much faster for the money.
You have to take it to a machine shop to have them check it to insure what the next size will be. We cant tell you the next size because of groove depth ect. How sure are you its never been bored? All the info you need as far as all the bore sizes are here for you to read, use the search and inform yourself. Read as much info useing the search button as you can and then ask away.
