Don't do it, stay with the thumb throttle. Seriously, why do you want a twister? What is TPS, you mean TORS? If you trail ride and it gets technical, your wrist is gonna be beat up.
what i mean by tps is the throttle position sensor..on my stock throttle there is two cables come out of it and one hooks up and my buddy told me it was the position sensor...and the reason why im switching it is because i've rode dirtbikes more than i have four wheelers so the twist throttle feels more natural to me
FINALLY someone who wants a twist throttle, and i knew this thread was gonna get bagged on because everyone here hates twist throttles, but every has there own preference i guess. and i didint hook up my twister the PO did.
I wasn't necessarily bagging on the twister, my Blaster came with one. I ride a lot of technical and rough trails and I know how I feel after riding a twister vs. a thumb throttle. I switched mine to a thumb throttle. If you've ridden a lot of dirtbikes, then you will absolutely be used to the twister on the trails, but I only ride a twister on the highways! I:I
Alright well im not very fimilar with the blaster but..on the thumb throttle (on the bars) there is two cables, one goes to the carb for the throttle and then there is one cable that plugs into another ill have to take a picture of it when i can
those wires are for the tors. you will also have to unplug the tors unit under the front cover.
I thought I wanted a twist throttle to, that lasted about 2 rides and the thumb throttle went back on, it isn't natural like a bike. a buddy has a twist throttle on his and loves it.
iv been riding dirt bikes for near enough 4 years and the blaster is the first quad iv had with a thumb throttle and iv used it once and i wouldn't want to use the twist throttle on it. get better grip and easier to work when in the air
