need help with carb

i adjusted the screw on the side of the carb to make it idle and it did, but now it doesn't have the get up and go it used to what went wrong? please i need to use it today.

the screw on the side is your airscrew, it should be roughly 1.5 turn out. the IDLE screw is the big flathead looking one under the seat on top of the stock carb.
 
thanks it didn't have the get up and go it usualy does but now it moves right like it used to i think i just won't have it idle never did never will

lol not with that attitude you wont.... f you want it to idle and are willing to put the effort in let us know we can walk you through cleaning the pilot and whatnot. my stock carb acted sh*tty also untill i completely took it apart and cleaned it. its all about maintance with these blastys.

yesterday the carb went to sh## the first day of running it hard i knew things where going to break and the clutch cable snapped. i'll take car of the carb tranny seal, and shocks and other things i can't think of right now in the winter so i can smoke a 250x honda fourtrax but need to replace clutch cabel this week.
