I have a 98 Blaster that i just picked up. The guy had said he didnt know what was wrong with it. I cleaned the carbs and changed the spark plug. It turned on but wouldnt idle if i didnt hold the throttle 2% in i messed with the idle screw but nothing. It would just turn off. But it would run really good and strong. Today i tried to turn it on and it wouldnt. I through some starter fluid in and it would turn on and dye right away no matter if i gave it gas it would just bogg out. Can it be the injection oil system or what can it be??? Thanks

i dont think that would be the tors because if the tors screws up it will idle fine but when you give it gas it will bog
i would think it is the tors,since now its not starting at all.
but on another note,seems like it has nothing to do with the oil injection.
Do you have any idea what it can be it was running fine yesterday except for it didnt want to idle. Now it doesnt even want to turn on??
Follow the wires from the throttle to the disconnect under the front fairing, disconnect them and junp the wires that go back to the engine. this will bypass TORS and let it run no matter what is happening with the throttle. I had to do this when I switched over to a Kiehin PWK carb. The only down side is if the thrhottle sticks it wont shut down when you let off the throttle lever!!!
the tors is the oil injecting system that premixes auto right?? how do you do it and would i have to get a kit or just disconeect everything and im good??
no, the TORS(silver box looking thing on top of your carb} is the Throttle OVERRIDE SYSTEM,has nothing to do witht the oil,or oil pump. It has to do with controling the opening of the throttle if its stuck open/closed..ect ect..its very easy to disconnect. just follow what this says \/
