I recently purchased a 34mm keihn with the 34 -38mm boot to go with my reed spacer and new cage. I thought the side which is remarkably larger, would connect to the boot on the engine side. but this would be wrong! the smaller side of the carb fits perfectly. So my ? is... do I need an aftermarket airbox to fit this gaping hole? or am I over reacting!

thanxs

thanks guys for your quick responses! my bike is a 3 hour drive from my house so its a little hard to see for myself! I think ill go with the vitos adapter. wish i could use the KN.

no prob man, if you have any more questions feel free to post them up .. yea i would go with that unless you want to spend 200bucks on a project blaster aluminum airbox lol ..

dont go with K&N, i tried it in mine when i was racing, it ran like a shatbag, we had it jetted properly, but it kept sucking dirt into the carb, trust me, go out and buy a UNI filter for it

The aluminum airbox from Project Blaster comes with a uni filter and would for sure be the way to go if you have the money. I would get the adapter from Vito`s for a quick fix.
