need help asap! rear hydro problems

i got my brackets for the gsxr swap installed a few days ago, and finally got pads for the setup and i went out and put them on and tried to bleed the brakes and nothing! i cant get anything. i even pulled the line off the master cylinder and i cant even get fluid to come out of there when i push on the pedal. i know this master cylinder worked when i took it off the bike it was on myself and i dont have a vacuum pump or anything. if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know asap. thanks alot

you may want to invest in a pump, otherwise AWK has a great write up on here somewhere on how he does it. you may want to do a search

I have not installed mine yet but what i'm going to do is when it is installed,i'm going to take the line off the caliper and put the end in a small jar of brake fluid and pump it to bleed the mastercylinder.Make sure you keep it filled with fluid.Pump it till you stop seeing bubbles.Put the line back on the caliper.Then get some small vacum hose that will fit tight on the end of the bleeder screws.about 3 feet of line will be good.Get a socket or some thing that will fit tight between the brake pads to keep them apart.Put the hose on the bleeder screw and into a small jar of fluid.You will have to hold the caliper upside down and make sure you bleeder screw is at the highest point.Pump the brakes till you stop seeing bubbles then do the other bleeder screw.Make sure you close the bleeder screw BEFORE you take the end of the hose out of the jar of fluid.That should work for you.

gravity bleed doesn't always work. a pump will be the best thing to use, it is quicker too.

also you are doing it wrong.
leave the line on the caliper. have the bleed screw closed. make sure the rezzi is filled with fluid. pump the lever it will take a while till you get pressure. once you get some pressure pump it, keep it pushed down, turn bleeder screw to let out fluid and air, tighten bleeder then release lever. you have to keep pumping till you get pressure and doing the bleeding like that. once you only get fluid coming out you are good. also never let the fluid levels drop to low.
