I have to replace the reed right now it had stock cage with boensy ( miss spelled ) It was recommend to replace with V Force delta 2 reeds and cage

What the pros and cons of V Force 2 vs 3 or should I just stick with the boensey super stock pedals on the stock cage

I have Bills Pipe & silencer - larger bore - might be jetting not sure yet

Thanks!!

boysen is the word you are looking for.

Vforce 2 are known to have screws come loose and destry top ends, but with a little loctite that shouldnt be a problem, vforce 3's are a snap together type that eliminates the screws, you are looking at an 80 dollar diference in price between the vforce cage set up, and just throwing super stocks on, what is your budget?

Budget is open but I was told for the price between v force 2 / 3 that the 2 were better ( due to price ) is there an actual performance difference between 2 / 3

Honestly, from what I've been seeing the boysen reeds with the stock cage offers the best performance for your buck.

There is a very minimal performance difference in the VF3's and VF2's.

they do not make vf2's anymore ?????, so you'd be stuck looking for used ones
i ran vf2's on my sons, then switched to 3's, and didnt notice any difference
i'd stick with some type of replacement reed for the stock cage on a mostly stock motor

Whats your thoughts!! Final dissision help a brother out -- Boysen super stocks or VF2 ??

Awk08 It's been bored to a 67.5 Athena piston other then that pretty much stock ( Boysen super stocks or VF2 ? )

boring does not add any performance, just regains the original, porting is a whole different animal
boysons for your unmodded motor,
