who sells the leakdown testers for $30 dollars? today i started my blaster for the first time in a while and it acted like it may have an air leak. it was running very lean, bogging down, wouldn't rev all the way up, revving up by itself, and it just wasn't acting right at all. i know the carb didn't get gummed up because i always turn off my gas and run it out after every ride. anybody got any ideas? i think it might have an air leak so i need a leakdown tester but maybe not somebody tell me what you think.

holeshotman sells the testers, and every 2 stroke owner should have one, and i dont think running the fuel out is good for the motor, that leans it out everytime you do that, draining it with the drain screw would be a better option
pull that carb, give it a good cleaning, check/reset the floats if needed

use the drain screw to drain the carb bowl when your gonna leave it sit for long periods, not shut off petcock and run the bike till its outta fuel, that runs it lean everytime

oh okay good idea man thanks i never thought of that! i am going to get a leakdown tester as soon as possible but for now am hoping i can get away without an air leak haha. it kind of broke my heart when i had to push the blaster back to the house because i was afraid it might kill it running real lean like that.

Check the diy for it. I have ten bucks in mine.

You can actually rent them from Online motorcycle
The nice thing about them is that they have a squeeze ball to pump them up. There is no chance damaging your motor by over pressurizing it.
