My Latest Creation, not quite finished...

I love it , just looks like some sick mad max $hyt , we need a tank differential designed , so we can skid steer , and run a full length track on each side . and maybe a gun mount ....

i love the idea i rode mine in the snow for the first time it is so much fun but its very slippery i love it we got 4-5 inches

heres a tease

..a couple craptastic vids are coming, but you should still watch them eh

My over all score for it...7.5

The tracks are holding up fine, Deep snow is too much for it,... so if I finished earlier I would of rode after each snowfall to acces of my whole yard

The skis are just too god damn annoying on the tires like that. the 'ski shoe' bracket I fabbed out of my old diamond plate heel guards. They're not quite high enough to hug the tire, so they twist alittle when I turn hard. I cant get access to welder to make proper brackets to the hubs, not spending any more money on it. ..although, I'm satisfied I completed it and I can say....ya I did that...

I'm hoping this weekend somebody will take it off my hands and I get some $$$.

*Note: Look close you'll see the new mount I made for the vapor.

I have a bud on the volunteer fire dept. in the township just south of here and they have the new can am outlander 800r outfitted with the full apache track kit, it can crawl up snowbanks with ease, and I mean ease.

dude thats funny as all hell. i could see you doin the fred flintstone reverse out on the street, hahahaa, but very cool project, do you keep the front brakes locked on while running the ski's ????

i am seriouxly considering doing this. it looks so sweet. as for the fronts though i was thinkin of using two flat pieces of steel that are about 2 inches wide by probably a foot long and drill holes in them to mount up to the hub and then running those down to a ski to eliminate the whole front tire and rim. what do you boys think?

looks pretty cool. I had the same issue when I mounted ski's to my r. I ended up taking the hubs and brakes off of mine and then built an adapter that bolted to the spindles using the existing caliper mounts.
