so I took my kid sunday and he hit the jump. he never got smooth landings down but he did better/worse at times. I tried to tell him to go faster and at one point he nailed it WAY too hard and bounced so hard (he did get good air lol) that he ended up super maning the handlebars lol it was awesome, I was cheering before the bounce lol. then laughing after. anyway, here's a couple vids, ended up letting an 18yr old gurl ride it a bunch of times too, she caught on quick and was leaning turns and jumping a little, but then when the trail rode it eventually it banged on a fence post or something cracking the left side motor case (the small one) so now I need to replace that lol. was still fun for them. I'm all crispy it's really hard to sun burn a brown person, I was out there ALL damm day watching my kid go around the track. I actually took a shovel and rake and made the jump twice as high LOL

gonna try to get better vids/pix when we go riding again. I didn't really ride as I flipped my ltr pinning 4th so I haven't really rode in a couple weeks now but I'll be back at it soon. and I'm gonna get more armor for myself LOL kidney belt and neck brace or roll like my kid has lol. maybe hip pads for in my pants lmfao. incase I roll again I'll be better shape.

oh, that's maui in the back ground, hard to see. we get alot of vog (volcanic version of smog, and there's plenty of clouds) we're on the big island, Kohala/Upolu track.

later guys,

Tom

he's learning and doin good. I would like to ride there, but I think I would end up doing more sightseeing than riding because that is some pretty landscape down that way.

yeah, to each their own. I don't sight see. I don't go watch the lava flow at night, I'm not interested in ever going to the grand canyon or yellowstone lol. I do see alot of nice stuff diving and surfing and just in general going around. but I don't go out specifically to marvel at nature's beauty unless it's at the strip club throwing down hundreds of 1s to support single moms :p my wife doesn't mind watching the accrobatics either lmfao. we just went to one in honolulu with a 20' pole where they do all kinda flippy upside down stuff it was a blast... kinda wished I got some new nerfs tho for my LTR instead of waste it watching nood arobix lol been thinking alot about the new houser bounce nerfs so I thought about it in bed the next night after the club thoughts were long gone lol

I think that he will be more comfortable as well as confident if you make that jump twice as high but also at least twice as long, its a much smoother better lookin jump, just thinkin out loud, tabletops are bomb

Nothin like watching your kids ride to put a smile on your face! I have 10 year old twins, boy & girl, that crack me up. Believe it or not the girl is the daredevil w/natural talent (Always has been) & the boy is somewhat more reserved. She rips around, gets sideways, throws roosts, & climbs hills; whereas he just rides around like an old woman on her way to church lol. Love the shovel part, been there/done that lol. I:I

no, I DID make it twice as tall. and I didn't need to lengthen it as he wasn't landing it like a double anyway. all the big bikes were landing it as a double as there IS a landing on the other side. he just couldn't or wasn't getting enough speed/air to land it as a double. my buddies were but they are riding big bikes (mildly modded banshee and a ktm525 with the gray wire map) so I mean, hard to compare an 80 to that lol. specially when he wasn't even nailing it... plus I put his stock carb/reed back on. so I may need to play with his big carb and V-force cage and see if I can get it cracking full rpm from a stop again so he can make the jump with more speed coming outta the turn :D

IF he chooses to that is. but 1st I need to crack the block and swap cases from a spare motor I have with the opposite side case broken lol

my buddy with the shee, his daughter would NOT go after we geared her in my sons gear and stuck her on his bike. he physically put her on the bike. she was ready to cry. I had him ride it around and set the throttle limit screw. then when she was on it, I jumped on the front bumper grabbed the bar and pushed the throttle while facing her telling her it was ok, she was about ready to cry again so I stopped and let him take her off lol. she's almost a year older than my son.

our daughter is bold too. she's only 14 months old but she does stuff her brother didn't at her age. and she's a rider already. she runs around changing up from 2 stroke to 4 stroke lol. neng neng neng, and braaap braaaapp braaaaaaaaaappp lol. she gets to mostly just sit on parked bikes. but sunday my wife took her on the Lt80 and man was she pissed both times they tried to take her off lol
