here's a few pics ken sent me to hold me over till he ships it back to me monday, we together decided not to get too wild on this and make some reliable horsepower,
good dude, found my last bore was out of spec, and the ports were never chamfered scouring my piston
so i had a new wiseco 67mm piston kit shipped straight to him for a new bore job too,
good pricing and returned shipped in 2 weeks...............

This is a before pic of a Blaster head.

This is your head. Started life @ 22 cc's. It's 17cc now The rubber vibration pieces will have to be removed from the top of the cylinder. You can cut them off ( that's what I do ) or just trim them down for more of a stock look.

Here are the transfer ports. I finish them with a sandblaster to promote complete atomization of the fuel mixture. You don't want a shiny finish here. It will make the gas ball up on the surface of the port.
Cylinderporting006.jpg

This is the intake. Same story with the finish. I like to keep the bridge wide so the piston has more support. Boost port is much bigger.

Here is the exhaust port. This is where you get to polish till it shines.

brandoz, i just noticed in your avatar, theres no motor in that frame, is that thing pussy powered, hahahaa

that is very nice work, you can tell that guy actualy takes pride in what he does. its a breath of fresh air, wether your into messing with cars, bikes, quads computers or R/C cars, there are always far far more people on the market trying to sell you rubbish and rip you off, by the look of it youve found a good'un.I:I

thats what i was told, reliable, maintainece free, horsepower on pump gas, which i always run 93 octane sunoco, i trust what ken says, so we'll see
is there a limit on the cc's for pump gas???

I am not sure on the cc limit for pump gas on the domes myself.

But if Ken told you it is set up for pump gas you should be fine.

I run Sunoco 93 myself, dam I remember when it was 94 octane LOL.

/\/\/\/\ exactly stroke'n'smoke, i approached ken about doing this for me, he wasnt on here every day trying to shove dynocharts down my throat, and actually talked me out of going "wilder" on the porting, so it would be more reliable,
very knowlegable, likeable dude !!!!!!!!!

you usualy find the people who shout the loudest are full of sh*t. cant realy poiunt my finger at anyone in this hobby yet as i dont have the knowledge, but in the car/vw scene. theres loads of tuners/ remap companys who basically are more interested in putting a sticker on your tailgate thyan how they are actualy affecting your cars performance/reliability. but like i said that looks like top notch work bet you cant wait to get her fired up on that.lol

hey stroke, vw scene here too, dont have one right now but have had 6 mk2's, (god, i miss my '90 GLI) and my son has a 95 jetta we're gonna start on soon, pm me some good links!!!

haha a fellow dubber right under my nose lol. got much planed for the jetta? is that mk3 at 95? we call mk3's ventos, funny you should mention seen a mint dragon green VR in a driveway looking lost mmmmmmm!
ive got my skoda vrs and my mk2 gti, got a g60 for it and some d90 hoops. old dubs and 2 stroke quads doesnt get much better than that.I:I

i gotta get this jetting of this new 34mm pj figured out without harming this new stuff, 150 main, 48 pilot and 3rd clip down, had it running rich and bogging when throttle stabbed, airscrew had to be turned all the way in to rev at all, and is working its way out, spring and/or o-ring missing i think ?????

but ride report and vids to come in the next few weeks

awk one more thing...not sure if u caught this or not but make sure that u trim the rubber vibration stuffer blocks so the head will sit tight...my sons wildcard head looked quite simialiar to urs...and i had that issues with the head not sitting down tight to the jug because of those rubber blocks

ken did tell me to trim or eliminate those, he's on his game!!!!

thanx for the heads up though bro, it's little details like that that save guys hundreds of dollars
