my high school ride...i sure miss her

It rides nice,i rode in it haha. But he wont put a 350 in it :-/

Wrap your head around the fact that cars value damn near doubled at the beginning of the year. The NSRA (National Street Rodders Association) began including later model cars, up to like mid 80's if I remember correctly, so cars from the later years are going to become more and more desirable.

And last I checked, GM exited bankruptcy, Ford STILL sucks and insists on pushing the envelope on repainting and "introducing" old, dated, and half ass "engineering" (and I use that term VERY loosely!).

Blazer and S-10's are actually good vehicles, Exploders are not, the 4.3 never had a head problem, and I cant remember a recall because of the tires GM used blowing the f*ck up when your trying to drive.

However, I dont think I will say the 700R4, 4L60 OR 4L60E transmissions tough, or bulletproof. I've burnt my fair share (2nd gear burnouts!).

Another Ford problem is they rely all too much on the "rep" of the crustang. However, my high school ride, and my current have NO PROBLEM smoking the mother effing sh*t right out of Mustangs, yes, even SVT's.

I still have my high schoold ride.. 1969 elcamino super sport.. been apart for a resto now for about 6 years.. one of these days i'll finish it..

and i also currently own a 91 c1500 chevy (350/700r4), a 98 S10 (2.2/5 speed) my commuter.. and i have a 04 f250 super duty with the 6.0 powerstroke.. and my elcamino of course... and i love every one of them.. my dad has been a GM tech for 30 years so you can probably imageint eh look i got when i said "hey come check out this FORD i'm buying.." he likes that ford though...

I just bought a '94 Ranger XLT on Tuesday at an auction a couple days ago for $650. Needs a Rad Support, Cab Mounts, a windshield, and bodywork. I bought a LF Fender today, a good used tailgate, rad support, cab mounts. Now all I need are windshield and front brakes and needs put together but I've been making a lot of progress. The truck is a 4 banger, 5 speed. 162K, I'll get pics soon.

I love my wagon. All its got is a little 200 V6 but it fits that car. When it dies its gettin a bigger motor, but il gonna redo the 200.

That dakota is a f*cking tank. The construction and everything, 137k and its like brand new (sorta). Ask Cmh156, ive put that damn thing thru hell for being a 2WD. Put my 600lb eiger in the bed with tools and fuel and it barely sags (*cough*cough* what helper springs *cough)

I will take a ford anyday. But my first car is going to be a 1987 Oldmobile Cutlass Ciera. I'm getting it for free. It only has 70,000 miles on it lol. And If i remember right, Ford has, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Volvo, and Land or Range rover. Chrysler has Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Plymouth (Although not made anymore.). I think it was Chevys fault for going bankrupt. No company needs that many different brands of vehicles.

I'll tell yah, you guys have it made now a days. When I was in school I drove a rusted out p.o.s. 1966 ford f100 that I bought at an auction for $100. It was all I could afford, can't get much when you only make $4.65/hr and only working 10-15 hrs a week. It had a 240 6 cylinder with a 3 speed on the tree, no power steering and four wheel drum brakes!

Yukon prior to lift and the accident... heading to body shop now cause the entire passenger side is pushed in along with the frame rail being turned upward:

Well the Camaro's motor was a 305, blew it up my dad is building a 355/358 (not sure what the bore is) for two stages of nitrous, I imagine it will be a 9 or 10 second car when he's done.
I could probably do high 11's on 108, and if I was willing to risk my motor or change the rings I don't doubt I could do low 11's on the 100 shot I got laying around my house.

After my Gixxer Blaster is built, if I do sell it I will build a stroked and blown small block for the car.

i had a 87 chevy caprice. identical to my sig pic except mine had stock chrome hub caps. well polished stainless steel. blew the 305 up in her within 30 days. then dad dropped in a brand new crate 350!! tires were optional!! i became the donut king in forest park!!

i'm a chevy guy i got her when i turn 16 bday bone stock and the first summer slammed her and did tons a stuff. but after 11 years i sold her :(:(:(
