I agree it does look a bit odd, but at least you're ironing out the bugs. I built custom aluminum struts for the front of my '01 for drag racing. It sits 4" off the ground. Gotta get the 8+ swinger on so I can fab up the rear strut and drop it on down I:I

I was thinking the same thing... somehow attach a blade/guard to it
