Your bottom end is sealed off from the transmission, there should not be any gas in there even if it did leak from the carb into the bottom end. Sounds like something is allowing the gas to leak into the tranny, or your friends sabotaged you!

could it be the seal? i already have a new seal

you have an Internal leak. before you do anything else, you should look into that first. putting another carb on that doesnt leak is fine but, you still have a leak inside.

not necessarily because they come with a spacer plate for the +3. it just gets you by, but for maximum performance the jug should be setup for it and then you do not have to run the spacer. it's all about port timing and squish.

a proper leak down test will tell you where it's leaking. forget the carb issue right now and run a leak test. that will tell you where you stand.

it is! slickerthanyou makes em, cheap! its a Must Have for ANY two stroke owner. yeah, worry about the carb in a min. you have to fix the leak inside. sorry man!
