how much do you think my motors are worth and who would be interested in them
my motor has the following upgrades
vitos 240 bbk
35mm pwk carb
sms manifold
reed spacer
boyessen pedal power reeds
and how much would it be worth if i threw in the carb and airbox

grampas stroker motor
+3mm stroker
tranga race ported 200cc pulls harder than most 240s
trenga reed spacer
pro design manifold w/baffle
trenga reeds
30mm oko carb

I would say something around 1500 for both motors on ebay or craigslist. I could be wrong though. Probably get more money if you parted them out.

Why the question of worth? Ya'll aren't selling are ya'll demon??? How would uncle AWK feel about this nonsense. lol

uncle awk knows whats up marcus' sleeve, he may be implanting yz or yzf 250 motors

there worth there wieght, so about 80 bucks give or take.
JK

id say sell the 200 and part the 240 youll make a ton it off here and itll be gone pretty quick.

there worth what someone is willing to pay id put them up for 2000 obo and see what you get.

i would guess about 700 or so each depending on hrs, condition and bore. i just sold my ported 240 +3 with upgraded clutch and adjustable timming plate with cr125reeds and carb shipped for 975 and shipping was 100 bucks...

Id say somewhere arround 1800 each if you can get lucky...does any one else have that uneasy feeling of a giant ass monster about to be born like he's sacrificeing these two to the gods right before it apears hahahahaha UncagedShadow and AWK08???:o:o:oX(AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA run away I:I good luck Demon

Now i dont like seeing blasters or their motors being sold, but i support the renovation to make room for either of these motors lol. A yz would nice, but i wouldnt even complain about a yz250f(even if it is a 4 joke). Those 4 jokes can put out mid 30's hp stock and are torque monsters.

lmao...it does sound like some big numbers being tossed around for some motors so who knows whats up demons sleeve lol

ok theese 2 strokes are great and all and when i say great i mean not enough i am wanting a torque monster i plan on going racing so i'm wanting a torque monster and idk about the yz if i do that it will go in my bike and we'll see from there i want a 4 dtroke because of the torque but you dont know what i'm going to put in that i'm talking hotcams and extc the yz exhaust maybe porting about it and defiantly looking forward fpor the yzf for sure

There is always the hybrids even though I dont really like them cause of cost it would be trying to piece it all together. But putting even a 250-4 dirtbike motors in a light enough frame will give it fast lap times. That will rival the 450-4's non hybrids so it is certainly something to consider in these times is int it? Although if you wanted to the 250-2 route in a blaster frame your only indefinate problem would be keeping the front end planted so you dont go shooting for the moon as it were

the yz250f has been done and as i understand is easier than the yz250 swap. Mainly becasue of exhaust fittment. A 2 stroke falls flat once you dice the pipe up. The 4 stroke header deals alot with power, but will be a 1000 times easier to retro fit.

i think yamaha screwed p on the raptor 250 when they could have put the yz250 alot more power like 35+ stock instead of the pathetic 15

All you really have to do is take a welding torch on low heat and heat the stinger tube and bend it so it will fit to the rear mounting brackets. I did a similar thing to my bent up toomey and it looks flawless now except a few dents that the prvious owner inconsevibley put there on the end pipe8-|
