it looks better in person but i cant get that one wrinkle where the seat bends up but oh well its good enought
 
ok more bad news i found where the air leak was coming from and where someone re welded the cases it has a big gap in it so it has to be re welded
 
well theres a gut that lives a lil ways down the road from me that has a all. welder and a couple people at my dads work what welds and he wants to do it localy instead of sending it off

The trick to getting out the wrinkle is to put the covering out in full sun for a few mins before you fit it.

Fit the bend up first and diagonally work away from it.
 
iv tried iv put it on and took it off and then put it back on like 5 or 6 times and still cant get the wrinkles out but ill try that

Staple centre front and back with a couple, centre sides with a couple.

Like making a cross but leaving enough material mto pull into the bend.

Now work at the bend to pull out the wrinkle.

Then work outwards from the centres to the corners.

Good luck and if you cant do it, freight it to me and I would love to help, but you pay freight.

well that was good advice iv just about got the wrinkle out
 
ok iv started messing with the head and the exaust port on the cylinder iv got them polished up and i sanded the head with some 320 sandpaper
 
ok i started painting and i finished porting the cylider and ill get pics of it in a few mins but i started painting some small stuff like the mount for the rear caliper and the thing that holds the sprocket on to the axle and the right side foot peg
