Looks to be in good shape , Looks like a fresh rebuilt crank to me , I can get pics if you like , It does have some surface rust on both ends of the threads , but I will clean it up nice !

I received It that way in a yamaha box full of new parts bolts and washers I:I

those covers are pc'ed. but that's beside the point. just wanted to let ya know the best thing i have found for gettting the pc off is tailstrip II aircraft stripper. Also if you are planning on pollishing by hand there are ton's of machining scratches in the cover once it's stripped. you have to sand all of those out or you will never get a good shine.

dont know yet my dad is gonna call 2 people that might have a bottomend they might sell and if they dont have one we are gonna see if the bearing in the one we have now is ok and then ill let you know

good and bad news well the good news is that all the gears seem to be in good shape and bearings seens to be good rhe bad the bottom of the rod looks like someone ground on it with a grinder
