mud runners rebuild

Looks to be in good shape , Looks like a fresh rebuilt crank to me , I can get pics if you like , It does have some surface rust on both ends of the threads , but I will clean it up nice !

well im gonna polish the side cover im trying to get the old paint off now

those covers are pc'ed. but that's beside the point. just wanted to let ya know the best thing i have found for gettting the pc off is tailstrip II aircraft stripper. Also if you are planning on pollishing by hand there are ton's of machining scratches in the cover once it's stripped. you have to sand all of those out or you will never get a good shine.

thanks for the advise i might have to get some of that in got 85% of it off
 
good and bad news well the good news is that all the gears seem to be in good shape and bearings seens to be good rhe bad the bottom of the rod looks like someone ground on it with a grinder
