Motor making VERY weird sound

My buddy bought a 94 blaster, not sure if its ever been rebuilt or not. It runs great except for it makes a weird noise at idle. Sounds like when sombody spins the big wheel on teh show price is right lmao. (Im not kidding)

Not sure if its a bearing? or maby piston slap?? idk. We were going to take the head off today to see if we can find anything wrong.

any chance ou can post a vid so we can hear it? blasters are noisy engines even when new so it coud be normal, or it could be all screwed up. lol

yah ill see if can post a vid. The blaster is also totally bone stock..

you can hear the reeds opening and closing that makes a sound like that, especially with a stock quite exhaust, check compression before tearing it apart, if thats good, chances are it's the reeds and nuthin to worry 'bout

cool guys, and now that you say that i think it is just the reeds. Didint even think about that. The quad runs great and has good compression.
