more problems!!!!!!!!!

i'm about ready to roll it off a cliff, i went out to get the air filter off tonite and the friggin part that the bolt goes into is stripped, any idea's, i have a headache and i'm pissed at the blaster, and calling it quits for today

i have an extra one of those pieces, i can make sure that its not stripped if you want it, just cover the shipping

the bolt won't come out, the filters stuck, and i'm seriously thinkin bout just cuttin the whole air box out, and gettin a aluminum one!

don't need to do that, pull the fenders and flip it up, you can see the nuts that hold the carb boot on, pull those and then you can get it all out of there and have better access to everything.


unless you have the money for like a CFM airbox.......then go for it! lol

alrite, its apart, the nut that is inside the plastic peice it spinning, we tried pinching it with pliers and everything, and it just spins, this friggin suck

Congrats on getting it apart. It sounds like you still need to get the nut off the bolt? You might end up destroying it (visegrips) to get that bolt out. Luckily, those pieces go fairly cheap on ebay. I had one I tried to fix once but it really wasn't worth it. So much easier to replace it.
