more power??

i was thinking about getting the pro design reed spacer and the boysen dual stage power reeds, if i put both of those things on will i feel a difference in power?

skip the reed spacer, but get the reeds you may feel a better throttle response but its not a huge power gain

The only benefit of a spacer is for clearance when going to a larger carb.

So I would not say that you get an increase in power but there is an increase in throttle response to be found. I got a pro design manifold which is a billet manifold and a VF3 reed cage. The VF3 cage had to be modified to work with the manifold so in getting them to match I ported both. This did not make a top speed difference but the throttle response is instant and amazing when compared to stock. ... And I second the reed spacer ... skip it unless you need room for bigger carb

X2 on the Boyesen PSR reeds and tradeing in your fatty in for a set of Toomey's They will make a very big difference. Thats my opionin

Just installed those reeds in mine the other day, nice , quick, cheap mod, deifinately better throttle response!!!!!!!!

what is a timing advance and how do i do it? oh yeah and how mmuch does it cost?

You can change the time that the spark occurs, by advancing the spark some extra power can be achieved.
You can buy a kit, or if you have a little mechanical knowledge and a flywheel puller you can do it for free. Whichever way you go you will need a flywheel puller.
Don't advance more than 4deg BTDC
There are instructions on how to do it here on the site but for the life of me I cant seem to find them.
Some king person will post a link I am sure.

Here it is on a banshee. Exact same process on a blaster only theres 2 screw holes instead of 3 to drill out.
