more hp

if youre going to run those 18s still then i highly reccomend a 14t front sprocket. and as posted before, porting, milling the head, maybe bore it with wiseco prolite piston, better exhaust, bigger carb, better suspension... stock blaster suspension sucks balls. upgrade and you will do better. i am running 18s and with stock gearing, i was doing alot of revving and not as much going. just that one size bigger sprocket, it goes way faster. not much but its deffinately noticeable. i just sent my top end to ken o connor so he is going to port it and re design my head. i cant wait to get it back

im not looking for the quickest time, this is all about how fast you can go in 1000ft. but yeah i plan on doing thos mods, where do i get different sprockets and stuff for blasters?

stock is 13/40 and i think the front sprocket is special to the blaster. a banshee one will fit the back hub though. i got one a while back for like 16 bucks from my local dealer, but ebay has like 22,000 things for blasters. check it out.

If you are just interested in dragging in 1000ft, you might as well make it more of a drag blaster and just run a 240 kit with a stroker and switch over to alky. :D

the cheap and easy way to get big power gains for small dollars is.

go with a 1mm spacer plate, clean up the ports yourself (cool video on this site)
you will need to pay a shop to have aprox .070" off the deck of the cylinder depending on the gaskets you use, as well as re-chamber the head. Even without real port work this will give you an extra 5-6 hp

i dont have 900 bucks for the big bore kit, and this is still going to be a trail bike in the summer
