Hey there! I just bought a used 2002 YFS200. Runs great, picked it up for $850 with an extra engein... smokin deal if you ask me. Anyways... The intake tube is missing and I want to replace it. Its just open right at the carb. I just assume get something better then stock. I love to make parts so any links to some homemade intake would be awsome. New to the 2-strokes so I need some suggestions. Thanks in advance!

if u look at the after market boxkes im sure it wouldnt be to hard to fab one up and make an intake tube for it out of a rubber tube
Yeah I saw a bunch of rubber couplers at Lowe's last night and thought it would work perfect... just need to find a universal filter to attach to it.
I'd say get some rubber tubing and make a custom intake with a universal filter. If you used 3 inch tubing and reinforced the end with a piece of pipe, then just tapered it down at the carb, you would have no problem finding a filter such as a K&N or AEM dryflow, etc. to fit the pipe.
Just around the yard... got 6 acres. Mostly woods, cleared some nice trails. Not alot of dust or mud. No racing or anything, just playin!
well, run a 5in radiator hose and put a clamp on filter and that will fix your issue, as long as your not going through mud and water...
