but ive been trying to decide to just get a bagged one (i doubt i can find one in my price anyways) or a stock one and paint it silver and black and lower it with 18/20's but heres a few ideas i want
i want this paint except i want where the green is black and pretty much the same wheels. Except i would completely shave the tailgate with the licence plate at an angle
Me personally im a lover of cars, trucks, suvs, and everything automobiles.
I like all styles of modification. If it has mods be it lowered, lifted, old school, new school it doesnt matter to me. I like em all...its all about being different. I can guarentee a lowered truck will get more looks simply because its different. There are way more lifted trucks then lowered ones and there pretty much a normal thing...they all look the same to me pretty much and dont have a lot done. They just have a lift and maybe some big tires. A lowered truck however will usually be lowered, nice rims, paint job, and some body mods.
Dont be offended by the "haters" comment...its just a joke...
I've been thinkin maybe a non bagged truck but still do everything i want to do to it but can still hall stuff.
can anyone make me a yahoo then a s10 forum account and pm me the info i cant figure out how to make a s10 forum account but have pretty much looked everythread i could but wanted to comment and coundnt
You can still haul w/ a bagged truck just need to make sure you still have shocks. i have air shocks on my truck so i can get some more weight in the rear, the front is just some modding to the torsion set up to drop it.
all you need is an e-mail and then you can register. they usually send the conformation in a day but it will go to spam
i love the look of a lowered truck. that being said, my brother has had two lowered rangers that i have driven, and i have rode in about 5 different lowered or bagged s10's and have yet to be in one that rides decent
Isnt the point of getting a truck to have a big vehichle that can pull trailers? If so, why would you lower it? It completely defeates the purpose of getting a truck. Just get a gay ricer.
well ive seen a few lowered trucks pulling trailers at car shows. my buddy had a 90 something chevy dually that was sitting like 3 or 4 inches off the ground and hauled a full size car trailer with his bagged 70's datsun on it. all he did when he had to haul something was put his drop receiver in upside down and that gave him the clearance he needed to haul...
i dont need to haul a trailer or anything and if i do i use my wrangler. i guarentee its a whole lot easier to put the quad in the back of a lowered truck than a lifted one...i guess it just depends on what your needs are...
been a chevy guy my hole life had an s10 reg cab 4x4 88 and bunch of my frinds have s10 got to say there money pits i now have an s10 killer mazda b4000 2 wd have had it 2 year aND THE only cost is gas and oil and the odd flush every now and agen and rolling on 20 inch rims soon hopfuly drop kit
i here alot of people saying dimes are money pits. ive had my 89 since 2002. its got the 2.8L V6 engine. The only thing I have had to do to it is an alternator and the regular maintenance stuff. Its got about 170,000 miles or so on it. Thats pretty good for a dime...LOL
if i got to haul something i use my k1500. i'd probably use the s10, but why would i when i have something far more capable? my low trucks are just toys really.
thanks ya i like it i just hope someday i can have something like iit
and you really cant haul a trailer with a s10 to good anyways just a little one and i could do that with something like this and still use the bed cause its not hacked up
and every hot rods a money pit and im used to that i already have an s10 just extended cab and defiantly not a daily
