bensalem PA..
well i got a magura hydro clutch for the blasty used off ebay bolted it on it worked awesome but i took it off cause i am trading it.. and i think i messed up the slave cyli, every time i pump it it leaks fluid out the end that gos on the clutch arm.. any 1 no how much a new slave cylinder would cost me?..or maybe if they sell a rebuild kit?.. any help would be great thanks..

I think my magura book said something outrageous like 70.00 or close to that. Mine was leaking and I had to take the brass end cap off and flat file it and made a gasket. The casting under that cap is poor and that's why mine was leaking.

I know rmatv sells parts and accesories for them.Good info to know.I have a new one here but have not instaled it yet.

Around 200 depending on where. I happend to get mine off craigslist for 50.00. It is definitely easier and smoother than the cable clutch.

If you want it done correctly, send it back to Magura. In 4 years I never had a problem with ours leaking, just the ball on the end of the rod come off. Most of the time a seal will blow due to someone working the lever before it is installed on the bike.

ill have to email magura and see how much they want to rebuild it. i gave it to the kid to mess with and he got it to stop leakin and work some what good but he dont want to to go on the trail, i got it off ebay for 150 buy it now off a trx250r. i think the end of the cable got streached out when takeing it back off.. hmm my friend was playing with it when i took it off maybe that had some thing to do with it?.

thanks guy for your help..

I'm about to take mine off and trade for a cable again. I don't really like it because it doesn't have near as much travel as the cable.

Maybe it doesn't work correctly due to that it isn't made specifically for a blaster, and you do know how to adjust it prooperly to get all the travel out of it. There is a certain way that it needs to be installed so there is plenty of travel and yet enough slack to take up when the clutch wears.

yea that could be it too but idk, when i went on the magura site it said blaster 250r and banshee so i figured it would be fine. it worked fine it felt great i had it ajusted good and it worked great but i just traded for another blaster and i just threw it in so not my prob now LOL..

No, I'm 100% certain it is installed and adjusted correctly. I have the correct free play and everything. The slave cyl itself doesn't have as much travel as the cable. I called them to make sure I had the correct spacer and cyl for it and supposedly I did. It works just fine right now even though I had to make up my own spacer.
