Lrd muffler with dmc head pipe?

I was not sure if it is ok to mis match the muffler and the head pipe like LRD muffler and DMC head pipe or should I keep it all with the same brand?

You can use diffrent brands,my friend is running a fmf powerbomb with a yoshimura slip on on his z400. As long you can jet a qaud it would be fine.

But you should just use the full LRD system,there one of the best blaster exhausts out.

actually it is possible,but your performance gain is gonna be poor that it aint worth it, keep it samebrand and maximum performance will be achieve

I personally dont think it matters that much as long as the aftermarket unit is free flow. when I wrecked yesterday my silencer mounting tab broke and the rubber boot that holds it to the pipe ripped so I basically rode it around the rest of the day with an open pipe. The power was still there it was just louder.

thats the point of the SILENCER...the head pipe is were all the power is made
