Hey guys ive recently had a few jetting probs, and scott had helped me out becuase my clutch felt like it was slipping in high rpms but it turned out that not enough gas was feeding the motor and i changed the jets how he told me to and it fixed it, the topend was feeling great but the low-mid power wasnt there! to much spuddering.. im kinda of a rookie to jetting and getting the hang of it

I have a pod a 32.5 pilot and a 280 main

well that shouldnt be too rich thats for sure, do you have the pod directly attached to the carb? i have heard of some guys having issues when they just clamped a pod on the carb that were solved by adding a 5 or 6" velosity tube wich can be nothing more than a piece of pvc. wabey thats worth a try?? :-/ :-/

Adding a larger main can sometimes make your lowend too rich. Even tho it doesn't come into play much at lower rpms, it is still there. You might try raising the clip on your needle a slot to drop the needle in a little deeper. This makes the main kick in later.

^Very true, though I would also go up at least one size on your pilot jet before doing anything too drastic. 32.5 is stock on a Blaster, and your poor lower-end performance may be due to a lack of (rather than too much) fuel. Try a 35 or 37.5 pilot and adjust the airscrew for best idle. See how it runs.

Oh, and a pod air filter will usually make your engine starve for fuel until you go up several sizes on jetting. The engine gets WAY more air (almost as much as running with no filter at all) when you use a pod filter. You have to increase fuel delivery to match the increased airflow. I'd center the needle clip, run a 37.5 pilot and a 290 main, then tune from there...

with my mods if you read in my sig + air box lid off what jet size would you think id need+ would i have to re jet my pilot jet? thanks

My bike has a spudder when I take off then it smooths right out an that's just with reg boyesens I'm going to be putting the boyesen duel stage reed so u guys think I will need more fuel flow when I put these duel force reeds!an my plug is kinda grey to but I do long hull all the time to get to the trails so I think my top end needs more fuel u guys agree!

Yeah, it sounds like it.

Too true. You have to determine whether it is a lean bog or rich sputter.
