ken aims most of his heads for the 162'ish range to allow 93 octane pump gas,

ken does awesome work i must say. i was very satisfied with the performance of my blaster after i got my top end back from him

ok so somebody wants to school me a bit on what was done and what performance you get out of it:-/...sorry if is a stupid question but im still learning

head looks nice man!

and as for what is being done

the chamber has been redesigned for a more efficient burn, and usually a little more compression, and thusly better power.

the owners manual specifies 93 octane, and for 20 cents a gallon.....its really not worth cheaping out on

i have 0 income. right now for high test it would be over 30 dollars for my tank with gas and oil. im going to save what money i can. it doesnt ping and technically running the lowest octane fuel without predetonation warrants best performance.

correct on that, but a lot of fresh top ends will push 145psi after the rings are seated, i'd just feel better with 93 in the tank when its 95* out
