I've been wanting a right bend pipe. But braaaapter is selling his toomey left bend. I don't have any porting or head work. Would the toomey make more sense?

I'm not trying to promote what I'm selling, but for your engine setup, the Toomey pipe will be a good choice. That's why I'm selling it; I'm getting some porting work done and possibly a stroker crank in the coming weeks. With these internal engine mods, I need a right-bend pipe for best performance.

If you're looking to keep your engine stock inside for awhile, the Toomey will work well. If you have major engine mods planned for the future, I'd wait and get a right-bend pipe. My .02

idk who started the whole "right bend is better" idea. they might be better looking to some people, but theyre not necessarily always better in performance. some right bends are better than some left bends and some left bends are better than some right bends. its the geometry and volume of the pipe itself that makes the difference. it all comes down to what you want your bike to do

The engine doesn't care which way the exhaust bends. It doesn't hold a grudge against left bend pipes and only want to have an affair with right bend pipes. It DOES NOT CARE.

I think the only reason people knock on left bend pipes is because the silencer is mounted on the right side causing it to cross over AFTER the pipe. It's not a big deal. I had a friend with a Toomey Exhaust and it ripped and was quite fast. His Blaster was stock and with the Pipe and filter, he was running pretty close to 400exs with just the pipe in a straight line.
