kickstart rebuild

ight so still putting my project blaster together...wen i bought iot kid told me wen compression built up sometimes leaked oil at kickstarter gear?!!?!? and wen i kick it over it doesnt come back up. what parts do i need to solve both problems...and hoiw can i go about getting them?? thanks guys!!

i kno theirs a spring in their for return of kickstarter but is tat all i should replace...and then theirs the possibile oil issue? oil issue may not exist...

It's a broken spring. You will have to pull the cover. Be sure to take care of it soon, mine broke and the spring got picked up by the clutch basket and ruined the basket. Sounded like the rod was coming through the case.

is it 3 the clip or 5 the spring....

Well i guess you will have to pull it apart and see. Mine was the #3 clip but i suppose it's possible your spring has broken. Either way that gives you the parts you will need when you find out what's broken.

so either way spring and clip will do the job? is oil leaking out of kickstarter even a possibility
