kick starter

So i just put a new piston and rings in my blaster and put everything to gather and now the damn kick starter acts like it stuck, i can turn motor over so i know its not seized and im pretty dam sure ive installed the kick start correct. any ideas would be great thanks

When u replaced the piston and rings did u take the clutch cover off?

no i didnt take the clutch cover off

sometimes things from inside get jared loose and jam up.that and also check the stator side to ive seen things get wedged in between the flywheel and the case
