I will definately give an update on the performance gains......I think I better get back to the weight room and work on my forearms! LOL! :D

yea lets get a ride together!!! did you get a port job?

Blastinit, where do you live? I'm up in Silverdale and I usually ride Tahuyeh, Green Mountain, Mason Lake or the top secret mx track if I'm trying to ride something local.

I just got some mild porting done to clean up the transfers and compensate for the +3 stroker. I also went with a re-chambered head and the CR500 stud mod.

I live in Chehalis. This is my first Quad. I grew up with MX bikes, but my comfort zone has been with my sandrail and drag boat. I love the dunes - either Moses Lake or Oregon dunes. I have yet to take it out on any real trail rides!

Nice. I still ride mx bikes and my 01 Blaster is my first quad. I bought it for my girlfriend so she could come to the dunes with us but at the rate I'm going I'm going to end up like the forum member "Wifesblaster" and have to buy her another one. I'm planning on doing a few trail rides soon to test out some new mods and break the new top end in I:I

So, I finally got around to getting the Blasty all reassembled. Went through the UGH.......heat cycles, and took it for a quick blip up and down the driveway. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to put a tank of fuel through it to finish the break in.

So far I am very happy with the results. The power seems to come on smooth and it sounds more like a YZ250. I upped the front sprocket to a 14 during the build, and it still seems to pull harder than it did with the 13. Once I get it broken in and jetted, I will give an update on overall performance!

Im also from washington! We should have a blaster meet up at walker valley!

x3 for Walker Valley, I've been meaning to check that place out for a while now.
