posted the issues i'm having with my bike and ppl are telling me it sounds like jetting. my bike is supposedly port and polished, LRD pipe, fmf silencer, also it has a k&N cone filter, possible new reeds... at WOT it "overheats" and chugs and i have to putt around until it cools before i can give it gas again (about a minute or so).

here is a link to the jets for my carb, which should i get?

not sure, how will i be able to tell? i assume which ever is the stock that came with the carb... couldn't lean mean not enough fuel and mean a larger jet?

Aye, my mistake. That is something i know to be true too, however it said something on that jetting webpage that confused me. If you read it says:

"For CR Carbs. The Main Air Jet meters the air entering the needle jet holder. Use smaller number to richen"

Different application, my mistake.

If they are Keihin main jets then it should say on the jet itself, but you would have to take it out to look. I don't know what they come with from the factory. I think it would be best to take a look. I'm not about to speculate where the carb came from and what main jet is in it. If you do go in there fishing around to find out what the jet is, try raising the needle by lowering the clip a notch.. that might take care of the problem right away.

alright thanks for the info, i'll try it in the next couple days... my bike is stored somewhere else... in a shed behind 2 other blasters lol.. at least it's not lonely!
